Ask Me Anything: The Verge's Senior Internet Typist Takes Over in Nilay's Absence!

The Quiet Week of the Year

As we enter the most tranquil week of the year, many individuals are taking a break to enjoy quality time with their loved ones. This period often inspires me to create a rather unusual post while I continue to work during the holiday season. In a memorable instance, I was left to manage things solo on New Year's Day and ended up sharing a continuous stream of cat-related content, which surprisingly upset quite a few readers!

Reflections on My Role

These days, I find myself unsure about my specific focus. It seems I’ve taken on multiple roles within our team. I serve as our business correspondent, provide insights as an in-house media analyst, and even delve into the world of heavy metal music. Additionally, I have become the go-to person for discussions about Elon Musk and the complexities surrounding his personality.

Embracing the Unusual

While this week is typically slow, it allows for creativity to flourish in unexpected ways. The quiet atmosphere offers a perfect backdrop for reflection and exploration of various topics. As I navigate through this peculiar time, I welcome any thoughts from readers on what they would like to see discussed.
