The Israeli air attack in the city of Gaza leaves many health officials, they say there

An Israeli aerial attack in a house in a district of Gaza City has left a strong death balance on Wednesday and others missing, with rescuers fighting to bring people out of the rubble with little equipment, said the Civil Defense service of Gaza.

The Israeli army claimed to have targeted a Hamas agent that he claimed that he was responsible for planning the attacks. Did not apply the operator nor did he provide further details.

A spokesman for the Gazan civil defense service, Mahmoud Basal, said that the rescuers had extracted 23 bodies from destroyed buildings, including those of eight children, with about 20 people who are still missing. He said that the strike had completely destroyed eight houses in Shajaiye, a neighborhood already hit by Israel last week asked for evacuations and who housed families who had been displaced from other parts of Gaza. Further air attacks had targeted other parts of the neighborhood on Wednesday, Basal said, but the rescuers had not yet been able to respond to those strikes.

The figures of the service do not distinguish between civilians and fighters.

The Israeli army states that Hamas agents are incorporated among civilians. On Wednesday, he said he had made “numerous steps” to reduce the damage to civilians before hitting, using air surveillance, “other intelligence” and precise weapons. An investigation by the New York Times discovered that the Israeli army has loosened its rules on how many civilians can endanger with every air attack and experts in international law notice that Israel still has the obligation to protect civilians.

Gazan’s civil defense said that his crews had difficulty bringing out the survivors because they were missing heavy equipment to sift the debris.

Israel has faced an international sentence for killing tens of thousands of people, including children, in Gaza during his research by Hamas. Gaza’s health officials say that over 50,000 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed since Israel started hitting Gaza in October 2023 in response to the attack led by Hamas in Israel who killed more than 1,200 people. Both figures include fighters and civilians.

The Israeli army declared on Friday that its forces had started operating in Shajaiye to “expand the safety area”, referring to what the military characterized as a buffer area next to the border of Israel with Gaza.

The military had warned people to leave the North Gaza at the end of last week while expanding his land campaign. But while many followed the evacuation orders, others chose to remain in their homes or refuges, saying that they could not face more upheavals after having endured the move after the move before the war. Israel has a growing quantity of territory, leaving Gazas even less places to go.

During the first 15 months of war, the fighting between the Israeli military and Hamas reduced most of Shajaiye to a desolate land. The buildings were demolished, destroyed roads and destroyed infrastructures.

A terminated fire made a break and allowed more humanitarian aid to enter Gaza from January to March. But after cutting the help at the beginning of March, Israel broke the fire on March 18 with renewed air attacks after the two sides have not reached an agreement to extend the truce.

Since then, the Israeli army has repeatedly bombed Gaza and seized more territory, a strategy that Israeli officials claim that it is destined to force Hamas to release more hostages.
