How was it taken hostage?
Mr. Alexander was kidnapped during the attack led by Hamas to Israel, led by Hamas, who lit the war in Gaza. He was taken by a small military outpost near the border with Gaza.
Last year, Hamas published his video.
Even an American Israeli friend of Mr. Alexander, Omer Neutra, who was serving in the same assignment, was taken by Hamas.
In December, the White House announced that Mr. Neutra was killed on October 7 and that Hamas had held his remains from the attack. He was 21 years old.
How did Mr. Alexander's family replied?
His parents, Adi and Yael Alexander, were born in Israel and have two other children. They agitated incessantly for the freedom of Mr. Alexander, meeting the officials and speaking to Rollies.
“We live in agony every day that passes without our son,” his parents wrote in a wise host for the New York Times in September after the discovery of the body of another hostage, the American hostage israeli Hersh Goldberg-Polin.
Sunday, the Alessanders traveled to Israel with the Trump administration officials. In a declaration, the family defined his next return “the greatest imaginable gift”.
They also urged the Israel government to negotiate the release of the remaining prisoners, saying: “No hostage should be left behind”.
